Heart Rate stops suddenly in Yoga/Pilates and Stretching

Good morning, I noticed the following malfunction in the Yoga/Pilates sport mode and also in the Stretching mode. At the beginning, before the training starts, the heart rate is shown in green (i.e. it is working). About 30 seconds after the training starts, the heart rate display stays at --. No more data is recorded. Is there anyone else who can reproduce this unwanted malfunction? !

Das Phänomen habe ich neuerdings bei allen anderen Sportarten auch. Plötzlich diese beiden Striche. Nach einer weile geht es dann wieder.

@Sportsfreund ne war heute zum ersten Mal. Einzig ein Softreset half. Aber irgendwie doof wenn man sich drauf verlässt. Besser keine speziellen Displayhintergründe dafür ne stabile Software.

I’ve not experienced this despite 3 yoga/pilates sessions since the latest firmware. However, I use a custom activity of the yoga/pilates type rather than the basic mode.

What’s stretching mode? Does it do anything special?

Any official Statement for this Problem?! OHR MEASUREMENT Problem NOW in Basic Walking Activity, too.

DID A DOWNGRADE to older Firmware now. Hope it works like before

@GiPFELKiND Tested again this morning (walking)… works without any problems. My Race S did a hard reset after the update to SW 2.39.20, perhaps that’s a difference?

Edit: just did a short Qi Gong form (tracked as stretching) and HR works there too!

Hello, did not find this info on the forum, so i thought id ask here. Can the suunto race s or suunto watches in general do specific hr measuring times? Like a time when youre in usually in bed? I dont need hr tracking during the day, only interested for the sleep recovery stats. Thx

@El-mapache you can choose to have 24/7 HR measurement and then you‘ll see your HR in the App

And you can see your average HR during sleep in different graphics in the App too. Additionally you can see your daily HR in the watch and measure your actual HR any time on the watch itself

On newer models you will also see HRV measurements during the night.

@GiPFELKiND Hello! I had the same problem on Thuesday while I was Swimming. All started well, but when I synced with the Suunto App I saw that my HR was only recorded the first 30 seconds of the activity. I read that you did a firmware downgrade to solve the problem, did you try a soft reset before? I prefer to do a soft reset instead of a downgrade Thanks in advance!

@rebecamg31 hey i did more softresets but without a solution. The same Problem still Here. Only the Software downgrade solved the Problem
