Open water swimming and snorkeling GPS tracking accurate issue.

Unlike the post quoted above, I have a different experience as to the accuracy of GPS performance in two water activities. I went back to them after 8 months (during this time I made two updates to the watch) and based on the traces of 7 activities in total I am disappointed to find that every time there is some incomprehensible error. Either it shows my trace in a place where I have not been at all, or the GPS charts a track of movement where I have not swum at all. Has anyone had the opportunity to test both open water and snorkeling recently and has similar observations?
