Software update 2.39.20 (2024 Q4)
-
So far I am not seeing improvements with the battery consumption.
I had 84% after the FW update yesterday around noon, and I woke up with 76% today (also OHR was off and the watch didn’t track sleep); it went down to 67% after my run this morning, which I find excessive. On a similar activity (with similar settings) two weeks ago I lost 4 pp not 9. Now after five hours I’m down to 64% so another 3 pp loss with the watch doing almost nothing apart from showing a few notifications.
All I changed is the watch face to the Christmas Tree one, which has no complications if not the one showing the calendar date.

@Egika Thanks, I must have read this some time ago but I forgot. I’ll follow what Q1 says for the battery and see what happens.
As for Q2, both sleep tracking and 24/7 wrist HR had remained on after the update, nonetheless they weren’t working.I’m happy with this new update otherwise, just sharing some feedback around one of the main known issues which is the increased battery consumption.

Sorry if its a duplicate, the post are increasing fast…
After the update the OHR of my Race S went nuts, showing about the double HR. After a Soft Reset everything is fine again -
Just reporting: S9PP from 97% to 87% in less than 24hours with zero activity. Will let it discharge and charge again, but at the moment the issue is still there.
-
Idle note that my 9PP gave up on measuring WHR halfway through the day - a soft reset fixed it just now.
edit: or at least the watch thinks it did. The app suggests it knew what was happening until 6pm. I did a workout where it refused to find HR but I didn’t wait for notice for a bike commute more than two mins. Which is roughly the same time as it gave up.

@dulko79 I updated my S9PP yesterday and I had no sleep tracked last night. The OHR was off when I took it off my wrist this morning. Both settings were on, though.
OHR turned back on after soft reset. Also, I had an alarm set at 06:00 and it rang at 06:30
After update OHR stopped after one or two hours. After soft reset it works again for that time and stops again reproducable. Never had issues with OHR before.

- SuuntoPlus Sports App displays device connection status
Is this explained anywhere? Does this mean any Sports App has the ability to show device connections? Is this with an icon?
-
I updated my S9PP yesterday. Sleeptracking went ok, but at noon today OHR stopped working. After 10 hours OHR stopped working again. Soft reset helped both times
-
@Janne-Leppamaki same here, OHR stopped working one more time after this morning soft reset. Never had similar issues before.
-
Battery seems same as previous update 4-4,5% / day but i must say I love compass calibration. I needed to calibrate it every few hours manually. Now I calibrated it after update yesterday, and today when I back home it was calibrated (no needed) in perfect direction

This morning all back is to normal, sleeping was tracked spot on, resources chart updated.

if you enable the S+ that connects to a BT device (like Suunto Aqua), it will show “connected” if successful. Screenshot in German. “connected” = “verbunden”

Good morning! S9PP here. From the update the OHR stop to works after a few hrs from the restart. Multiple soft restart and 1 switch off from the update. I did a soft reset just before sleep and the sleep tracking stop to record after 1:12 hrs (I think this time is align with the duration of the ohr sensor ) . Today I will try make a factory reset. Otherwise I will forced to make a firmware downgrade, waiting for a fixing of this annoying bug.
While the ui update is fantastic!

After the update, my wife’s S9PP stopped the OHR this night, which causes a wrong sleep tracking… we did a soft reset… wait and see… it seems to be an issue with the S9PP? My SV is working as usual!
-
Same here. 1h47min of sleep according to S9PP, then no more HR after that.

Hi @SuperFlo75 @taziden @Александр-Даниленко @Francesco-Pagano @Janne-Leppamaki @The_77
Please send logs via the app and send me a private message with your email address used in the app to check the issue with OHR stop working.
Could you help me out ?

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Same issue observed here, 9PP shows no OHR at all. Sensor is off. Won’t work or get active in the context of an activity either (OHR on, sensor/belt HR off). HR widget shows “Heart rate - not measured”.Soft reset restored OHR back.
Keeping an eye on how this develops!

@BrunoH I tried everything and my Control Panel was still broken. I gave up on it and went to work. Now it’s repaired by itself. Took literally no extra actions. Maybe just give it some time and it will be cured.
