I have been using this one till 9:00 for a number of years and I have gone through countless recharging cables and one may say that this is due to a lack of care. And although that might be true there’s also one of design and I believe that there are some significant issues that need to be overcome with this type of situation for general usage.

In one such incident I have had the USB cable hanging vertically from a PowerPoint to which then it makes it easy just to pick up the end of the cable to attach to my watch to charge on a bench. However one day I could smell burning wires and plastic to which I had found that the end of the USB magnetic charging point for the sunto Barrow 9 had connected to another piece of metal and was shorting out This was causing heat and unfortunately that melted Now this may be a case of having a aftermarket charger because I bought them in 24 amounts because the pins always seem to buckle and break if you don’t place them well as well as the strength of the magnet is quite significant. I think in general that the pins that are used with the spring loaded capability need to be revised to have something a little bit thicker and maybe less lengthy or something that encapsulates the watch altogether such as a spring loaded bracket as an option. Ultimately the default responses that I should probably care a little bit better however when you’re busy and you need to have a working time device sometimes care can be a little bit rushed designers certainly need to have a bit of an evaluation about this regardless for future products of course

@Yes_MrFranco I had a SB 9 for 3 years with no issues whatsoever using the supplied cable, a 3rd party cable and a 3rd party charging stand… The only thing I noticed was that the magnet in the 3rd party cable was not as strong.
