Suunto Race S Titanium Courtney Dauwalter edition
-
All watch faces are not compatible with the new Suunto Race s Courtney edition!!! Really?! Why not? Suunto are you kidding us?! Any ideas why and how to solve?
!

@GiPFELKiND
Are you shure that your new race s is on newest firmware? -
@GiPFELKiND Cournet Edition is just a strap. Something is wrong that You dont sync with app. Check Firmware of app, reset ur phone/watch (soft reset) and check again. If not, unpair and pair again.

@pavel-samokha I hope they will then also add an Ultrarunning sports mode?
-
@Jan-Van-de-Velde I’m confused, what do you expect from an “ultrarunning” sport mode compared to a standard “trail running” mode ?
Also, you know you can make your own sport profiles right ? -
@Jan-Van-de-Velde : you have native running sport modes. What would be an ultrarunning sports mode ? Probably many different wishes among all runners. The best way is to create you own, you’ll have the screens/dats fields that you need !
-
@Reiner yes the update started and finished
-
@Tami999 yes something is wrong… I synched many Times…the Synchronisation everytime finishing without problems. But in the watchfaces the Suunto plus Store says watchface is already in the watch. But in my watch there is only 1 face…After every synch i checked it but it didnt work! Its not my first suunto watch! 🥱

The new strap looks good with my ‚old‘ SV 🤩 and the watch has the behavior like before… and all my watch faces are still there

@Elipsus something the likes of the Garmin feature? I now solve it using laps, but differentiating between running and rest would be great. More info also here.
In general I find that Suunto lags a bit behind in these kind of multisports mode. There is no custom triathlon sportmode possible and so no Swimrun option in the watch (even though you can select it in the app).

@Jan-Van-de-Velde
Agree with this. I’ve got an Enduro and the rest timer is really useful on very long races, where I’m trying to minimise time wasted in aid stations and/or there’s a time limit on how long I can stay.
I know I could work around by adding a current lap data page on my 9PP. But that means taking up one of the already very limited number of screens allowed. -
Very off topic.
Maybe continue this in a separate thread.@Jan-Van-de-Velde said in Suunto Race S Titanium Courtney Dauwalter edition:

Suunto has this as an S+ app, that does differentiate between walking, running an resting. No manual laps needed (and they can still be used as laps) and no way of forgetting to press a button. I think the auto solution is superior: com.sports-tracker.suunto://campaign/suuntoplusstore/sportsapp/zzultr01

@Egika while I find that a SuuntoPlus app can’t possibly compare to a decent programmed multisports functionality (I didn’t try this one, but I did try the Swimrun app and it just doesn’t work), I agree this is getting off topic and I will leave it at this: the Suunto Race S is a beautiful watch and I’m glad that Courtney now has her own version (hopefully with extra functionality to come 🤪).
