RAISE to Wake delay too long ...
-
I’m not sure if this has been covered, but how are others finding the raise to wake delay on the Race S? I’ve directly compared it to my garmin and the Race S seems at least a second slower. This is very noticeable when in faster activities like Running.
Are there any tricks to speed it up? For example, on my Garmin I learned that turning touch on made it faster.
I might experiment with always on and turning off gesture mode but not sure if it will be bright enough. Also debating going back to MIPS …

@fritzbt2013 a second slower?
It takes 0.3 seconds in total in my Race S from watch facing upwards to showing all screen data. I measured this by counting frames from a video of the process to raise my wrist. -
@fritzbt2013 I have the same problem with my Race S. Its too slow to be usable for me, about 1 Second counted from lifting the arm
My workaround is to activate it with the back of my hand, touching (not pushing) the crown. It has a secret touch sensor there, but I think it only works with lift to wake off. And maybe AOD on, at least thats my setting
