My Smart sensor is nearly 3 years old and will no longer pair with my watch or phone. i have tried the following;

new battery x 2 incase 1 was faulty
reverse the battery for 3 seconds (with both batteries)
tried holding the pads together to create a circuit
I use the strap on average once per week and leave it to air dry. is there anything else icould try or is it just a matter of buying a new device?

It sounds like you’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting steps. Since the sensor is nearly 3 years old, it’s possible the internal components may have worn out. If you still have issues after replacing the battery and resetting, it might be time to consider replacing the sensor.
