HR not synching from chest strap post workout

Before I dive (ha - see what I did there?) into troubleshooting my chest strap, my Ocean connects to it before a workout, shows the HR, but does not sync data from the strap when I end the workout.
I’ve tried this for SCUBA, twice, and OWS, 3 times.

@Ze-Stuart does it show your HR while diving? I just started using mine. I haven’t dove with it yet

@roakes it is not supposed to show chest strap data under water, as BT signals are blocked.
@Ze-Stuart : did you press start while the watch is connected to the memory belt above the water? Otherwise the belt does not know when it should start caching data,

Are you using Suunto sensor? (under water HR needs the sensor memory)
If yes, there is some old post in the forum, about swimming, where HR is not syncing after activity (but I can’t find it now
). Maybe swimmers will retrieve the proper tricks to ensure that the sensor is well syncing HR data after activity.[edit] found this one. https://forum.suunto.com/post/115365

@Mff73 yep. Although weirdly the Whoop strap will also sync HR after an activity, which is worthy of its own thread.
