The alarm clock isn't working in the mornings.

Hello everyone,
I’ve been using the Suunto Race S for about a month now, relying on its vibration-only alarm to wake me up in the morning, as we have a child sleeping in our bedroom and I don’t want to disturb her. When I first got the watch, the alarm worked flawlessly. However, since the update, it only works inconsistently. I can’t say with complete certainty that the update caused this, but the timing seems to line up with it.
It’s a puzzling issue because if I set an alarm during the day, it always works. Initially, I thought the “Do Not Disturb” mode might be affecting the alarm, so I adjusted it to turn off 20 minutes before the alarm, but that didn’t solve the problem. Oddly, on some days, the alarm does go off as expected.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue, or could it be specific to my watch? I would appreciate any suggestions or solutions.
Thank you very much!
Best regards. -
Yes, I think @Ze-Stuart reported something like this. I have never been able to reproduce, the alarm always works for me. So, if you found a way to reproduce this, sync your watch after this happens, then send logs to Suunto from the app (you find the option in the Settings menu) and send me a private message.

@isazi thank you. I will send logs next week if it happens again.

@Matic-Luznar I had the same theory re: DND, specifically that if DND was enabled when I set the alarm, the alarm wouldn’t alarm. That didn’t turn out to be true…

@isazi Hello Isazi I also observed some strange things on the alarm clock which I reported to SUUNTO but also I’m not able to reproduce it regularly.
Their is for sure something weird in alarm clock somewhere but the danger is that as it is not systematic now I doubt on some feature even when they work fine
On my side it is not the alarm which does not ring but the fact that some times I was havign the feeling that despite I was settign an alarm, this one was not considered … which indeed resulted of a not ringing for sure … btu what I mean to say is that the problem I saw was not “alarm correctly set and visible as such btu not riningg” but instead “alarm wished to be active, appearing active in the specific alarm screen but in fact seen as not active by the watch, so when I display the alarm in the watchface complication then only – was appearing”

@Mister-PYC I also had a alarm Not working in the Morning. The problem here was that the battery was sub 10%.

Hello,
it had been working fine for the last three weeks until today.
@HoBart, thank you for the suggestion. Currently, my battery is at 50%.
@isazi, I sent the logs and a private message. After starting this thread, I removed all my alarms and kept just one for the morning. I thought that had resolved the issue and was planning to update you this week. “Fortunately”, the issue occurred again today. You have my logs, so I hope something useful comes up.
Thank you!
