Vertical treadmill mode.
-
Hi guys,
Ive had my Vertical for a month or so now.
Had no problems with running outside with GPS.
I’ve done a few runs in treadmill mode, the first couple being very accurate with paces and distance. The last couple of days all the runs are pretty far out. When I edit the distance at the end to match treadmill distance the distance and overall pace changes, however all the lap paces within the workout still remain the same. When this goes to Strava it shows the adjusted distance and pace on the main page, then the lap paces and distances dont add up to the overall numbers. The main problem is this would be all of my data would end up incorrect when I use the treadmill. My vo2 max , predicted times and fitness will all be off.
I hope this makes sense and that there is an easy fix for this.
Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention I also have a stryd foot pod. Not sure if anyone has had good results using the stryd and vertical? To be honest I’ve got no idea what’s going on with the stryd with this watch. The stryd website says the vertical doesn’t take pace and distance from stryd, but I’ve read other places it does. At the moment it seems to make no difference if the stryd is set as a foot pod or not, the pace showing on the watch is around a minute and a half a mile off, with no way to correct it. Maybe I would have been better off with a coros pace 3 for under 200 quid?!

NPE Runn treadmill sensor is your friend and you will have accurate results on your Vertical/Suunto app and fun!

@adam_mayes I have the same problem with the Race S (without footpod). The treadmill mode really needs a little bit more attention
