Suunto ZoneSense
-
@martintrail Wow, that looks great! I tried it for two workouts so far, but neither the S+ nor the App shows values that could make sense. How many workouts did it take to get such results?
-
@VoiGAS this was my fourth or fifth run, I think.
-
@claudiotereso this one?
-
@raceaddict I tried to delete SA on my phone, and installed it again, I have 2.38.0 which is the latest version for iOS… and after that, I see the ZoneSense data in the app for 1 of 4 activities? I really don‘t know what to do!
-
@martintrail not that one.
The same as the first one but with zonesense vs Heart Rate -
@claudiotereso this one?
-
i Started having a very strange issue when adding zonesense on my S+ app of the watch:
The watch does not recognise the H10 belt on the activation screen (it shows the normal heart and not the heart with the belt). Deactivating the OHR causes the watch to try to find a belt without any success. (removing the belt, resetting the watch etc makes no difference). Then by removing the S+ from the watch temporarily fixes the situation
Anyone else on that ?
-
@thanasis Have you tried pairing the HR belt in the watch settings? If it finds the belt? Just guessing

@claudiotereso yup!
-
Third race with ZoneSense.
The first two went ok, although one of them gave completely different results on watch and on app, but as far as I understand it, it’s normal.
On the third one hour easy run, 10 minutes without results (normal) and the rest of the time always green.
But on watch -> nothing.I understand it’s growing pains. I’m just giving another testimony to add to the KB.

it seems to have an issue only when install the S+ app on to excercise

I’m having the feeling zonesense is too aerobic for my fitness level:
I would have expected ot to be more yellow?
-
@dmcdmc hi, green and BLUE? Are you sure you are checking ZS data on the SA? If I am not mistaken ZS has only three color - green, yellow, red.
-
@claudiotereso another run with zonesense on the watch and no zonesense on the app.
Just reseted the watch, let’s see if it solves… -
and … the heart rate on suunto app is ok, but for strava the first 10 minutes are flat.
Is it me, or this zonesense thing still needs a lot of work ?:P -
@claudiotereso same. We are not customers. We are beta testers…
-
@claudiotereso @chee-ee-jordan-lo You should read the information or watch the videos before posting. The DDFA values require 10-15 min to establish baselines so values will not show. From an actual beta tester….
-
@Brad_Olwin you should read the thread more carefully. The original issue he was talking about was the zonesense not working in the suunto app. Which is what im referencing.
-
I don’t recognize the problems some folks seem to be having. It’s been working great so far and really looking forward to more workouts with the belt
-
@Brad_Olwin I know that DDFA doesn’t have values in the first 10 minutes.
But i am showing is the heart rate. The heart rate is always counted.On suunto App I have all the heart rate correct from the beginning and no zonesense info, but when exported to strava we lost the first 10 minutes of heart rate that, as far as I understand, is independent from zonesense.
the export mixed them …UPDATE!
There is another screen on suunto app that doesn’t show the first 10 minutes of Heart RateDoes this makes sense?
