Watch doesn't reset stats correctly with power off/on on different days
-
bug description
I don’t use my watch at night, therefore I power it off in the evening. The steps and cals are then not reset when I start the watch on the next day. The stats seem to still be correctly logged in the app when the day is ended though. This is annoying as I then don’t know what my step and cal count is on the current day.
How to reproduce the behaviour
- Watch is powered off with x steps, y cals for that day so far
- Watch is powered on the next day, steps and cals are not reset on watch
Expected behaviour
- Watch doesn’t reset stats when power on is the same day as power off
- Watch resets stats when power on is on a new day
proposed fix
- Save power off day and relevant stats to disk before powering off
- On startup, load the day and compare with current day, load if necessary

@oromisthr I think @Ze-Stuart also reported this issue, and I will forward it to Suunto.

@isazi thank you for forwarding it!
Is there any update on this?
This is extremely annoying and seems like an easy fix would be possible. -
