SW update 2.37.34 Q3
-
@thanasis Took my like 5 or 6 syncs with the app in order to display all watches. Not very seamless, but got it to work. Just have patience.

I see live HR complication is the new one then. Next alarm also on there too but guess I just missed it before.
To make sync occur had to force stop the app, then it resynced, otherwise all good.
Curious to see nav tweaks, sounds like stuff suggested in this forum actually ️
Sooooo gooood ️good Job suunto
I love the new SUUNTO FINNLAND Letters in the watchface ️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️

Installed with no issues and much quicker it seems. Able to download and manage downloaded watch faces. Will see how things are with run later today. Thank you Suunto!

I couldn’t enjoy the update for long, the screen died. Second time in 1 month
-
@isazi As usual, a professional and quick answer - thank you

Love the update and the direction development is heading.
My main gripe with this newest update, and the new faces, is that complication availability and styling is all over the place.
Some faces allow you to show HR, others don’t. Some faces have visual bars for some metrics, and just text for others. Some watch faces allow showing TSB and CTL, others just TSS.
It would be good if we didn’t have to compromise on which faces we find most aesthetic and fitting to our needs, and the availability of complications.
Also the ‘Vertical’ face no longer allows accent colour changes, it’s purely white.

Limits them, perhaps: the graph on the new altitude complication (large, lower field) does show the chosen colour.

Anyone else whith no update when checking?
-
@JonasLarsson It may have been downloaded automatically and is already on the watch

Unfortunately not.

Could anyone tell me if they fixed the always-on breadcrumb option? I mean, on the pre-activity screen, the breadcrumb is always turned on (for the last two releases), even if you didn’t use it during your previous activity. And have you noticed any changes in battery consumption? Thanks
-
@JonasLarsson I think it’s a matter of time. Don’t worry an update will come now or later

You mean I should relax and do something else? Are you crazy?
-
@JonasLarsson lol, this is how updates usually roll out - not simultaneously for all users.
It’s even said in the first message here -
Staged update starting on September 4th 2024
-
Will this update hit the Ocean?
-
On the Race watch face, the seconds complications never “fall to sleep” like before.
The pointer version changes every five seconds, the number version updates every second.
Is this a problem? Will it use more battery/energy?
-
@mlakis in Race the Amoled display is drawing more current anyway. So there it is a question of always on or not.
The data update makes no big difference. -
@JonasLarsson these are staged usually so not everyone gets it at once

Hello!
I have checked and this bug with swimming still exists:
https://forum.suunto.com/topic/11004/software-update-2-35-34-q2/403I would suggest suunto to do something with this screen:
Even if not to fix it, but at least maybe remove it, because now it is useless, but ocuupies one screen.
But the best option could be to give possibility to add it as one screen manually in custom sportmode or maybe make it as alternative look for the suuntoplus app “Swim timer”.

I’m interested in this, too. We’ll see soon, if nobody else is going to report it!
