@Jordi-C probably it depends on your speed, light walk isn’t enough
-
-
Isn’t enough in this new firmware?, for sure it was working fine with “light walking” on previous releases.

Isn’t enough in this new firmware?, for sure it was working fine with “light walking” on previous releases.
Yesterday, my wife’s SR S, was not able to detect “abnormal high speed” when she took the bus to go back home from the gym while she was on a walking exercise…
For sure something is not working fine in her watch after the firmware upgrade.

I have a 9 Peak Pro which I just bought second hand with a bunch of watch faces already installed. Now it seems I must learn to do that myself.
When I go to the SuuntoPlus store an select watch faces, I get the “you’ve reached the maximum number of suuntoplus sports apps in your watch” message. If i press the “View my app” button to check, I see only one watch face installed and one uninstalled, noyhing else. How do I get around the message and get the watch face I want?

@Jordi-C But which sport mode was using your wife? I mean, if she was in the GYM probably wasn’t using a GPS sports mode besides if she took the bus probably she lost the GPS signal, so the watch wasn’t able to detect she was moving.
It worked for me yesterday with a SV, in your case I would do a soft reset and see if it works again.

Whilst the improvements to the Turn-by-turn display logic are nice. Does anyone know if there is an option to Disable the “data tooth” on the map screen? If TBT is not being used, not “having” to have a data field present on an already small map screen would be a nice toggle-able option? If not already possible, perhaps it could be put forward as a suggestion.
Many thanks

not possible. If a route is loaded the tooth will be there. Without TBT it will show the distance to the end of the route.

@Boss-Hogg-450
there is no data tooth when not navigating a route, as far as i am seeing. -
Hi guys! Could you include a watch face with compass in the next update to vertical watch? I feel miss out from this. Is important to my use. I think you have an existent suunto race watch face with this complication allready. Thank you in advance

After the last update the Blood Oxygen measurements on my Race seems to me to have started to give correct (or at least reasonable) readings, while before I always got values below 90%, however that “fix” isn’t listed in the Q3 release info. I also changed the strap (a nylon velcro band) but don’t believe that could have affected the readings in that way.
-
@Jordi-C I will see if I have some time to test this
-
@Jordi-C have you tried reboot her watch? They run the same software and both should work

After leaving the gym she switched to “walk mode” and walked to the bus stop that is a few hundred meters away from the gym.
Of course, she always waits for GPS fix before starting any outdoor activity. -
yes, her watch was rebooted 2 or 3 times.
This problem started with latest firmware 2.37.34 Q3, on previous firmwares her watch was working without any issue.
She is going to repeat the “bus test” later this afternoon. I will post results later. -
@Jordi-C sorry I was thinking you were talking about the message you get when you forget to restart a paused activity. I have no car so cannot test the abnormal speed detected, never seen that message.
So, what I understand now:
- She uses the gym profile
- She long press the top button to switch to walk profile
- Walks to the bus stop
- Forgets to end the activity, and rides the bus measuring a very fast walk
-

@Mff73 Thanks, but in this case, it was the routing aspect that i was interested in. I’m kinda surprised there is no option to disable it when not using TBT. Hopefully it’s something they’ll consider.

So, what I understand now:
She had both problems, no message when you forget to restart a paused activity and no message when abnormal speed
About the abnormal speed message:
She uses the gym profile
She stops gym profile and saves activity
She starts a new activity activating walk profile
She Walks to the bus stop
She forgets to end the activity, and rides the busBut, unfortunately, when she was riding the bus, the “abnormal fast speed warning” never poped up.
Both warnings were working fine in her watch in the previous firmware.
EDIT:
my wife tested right now the “abnormal speed message” and it worked fine today!EDIT2:
She tested again the message when you forget to restart a paused activity and unfortunately it didn’t worked.
