Very cool. Utmb week! Brushed black Ti!!! Bought!!!
Hope I can order direct on 26th and it will be soon delivered -
Wow that black really looks good
-
@HankWang Fingers also crossed for sapphire glass!
-
@ferns Yeah, me too!
-
-
@ferns No sapphire, sadly.
-
@HankWang Is it already presented? If yes - do you know price and weight?
-
I am researching on it and will let you know soon
-
@VoiGAS it says today at 12, weight 53g and price I think +100€ compared to the Suunto race s steel
-
@VoiGAS 3599 RMB, pre-order get an extra watch band.
-
@HankWang said in Suunto Race S titanium:
@JVMT74 It will be released on August 26th, 12:00, Beijing time. Sunnto China has announced this officially.
Not yet released ?
-
@Antoine This brushed titanium looks so amazing.
-
The one in this video is made in China.
So maybe it’s only released in the Asian markets for now? Maybe EU/USA to be made in Finland and released later? Just speculating.
Also looks like it comes with an Athletic 5 strap in a new color way, which is nice. I prefer these over the other Athletic straps as they seem to be softer.
-
@Antoine It has been officially released, at least here in China Mainland I could pre-order directly.
I think @duffman19 is right, this could be manufactured in different places just like the Race S, so there might be different release dates for different markets. -
@HankWang is there a sapphire glass ?
-
@Antoine Unfortunately no. Otherwise I would have placed the order already…
-
@HankWang only titanium, quite useless
-
I’ve been using the SRs pretty intensely the past two month in parallel with my SV, mostly in mountain (trail running, hiking…). Gorilla glass works pretty well, not scratches for now
-
@Antoine I’m using a tempered glass protector (Fenix 7 standard fits very well)
-
This keyframe from the Suunto Instagram page looks like the SRs Ti to me - slightly lighter, brushed gray case and the new UTMB band.
But the linked video doesn’t show or mention the model at all. So I’m guessing it’s at least available to see at their UTMB tent, just not available for purchase yet? Kind of a bummer. And I’m guessing we won’t see it for sale this week, outside of China, since they haven’t teased it anywhere.

@duffman19 The testers rarely test variants of watch models. We test prior to release of the watch and continuously test firmware, where it does not matter whether titanium or steel.
