Multisport mode - not counting steps?
-
Tried the multi-sport option today as the cycles I do include short sections of walking/wheeling the bike (to avoid certain roads), and when I reached the seafront I decided to keep using multi-sport for my walk instead of having a separate activity. Afterwards I noticed it didn’t record many steps for the walked sections but everything else seemed fine except the watch only shows the cycled bits. Is there a setting I missed?

Hi, I had a similar experience but with different incongruities in data shown on SA after multisport.
Most likely your steps have been correctly counted but it seems like that the SA does not show more data.
It is weird, and I hope that they are working on it
Multi sport is a great feature -
Thanks @Manuele. Hopefully multisport will improve. Otherwise finding it useful - only had it a week or so. Did some more experiments with multi sport today and found if I wheel the bike one handed so the watch arm can swing, it does record steps whereas if both hands on handlebar not many steps are recorded.
