Hi all,
I have another question for you.
I have used Suunto race s only for 1 running experience, but on the performance task I have no values, and if I open the activity I don’t have the vO2 max value…why ?
Because I have a Suunto 3 and the value of vO2 it’s present in all the activities.Thank you
-
@Ago51
you need several runs to evaluate it -
@Egika I also don’t have Running Estimate and Lactate threshold estimate. I mainly do trail running and don’t think it can be estimated from trail running. I guess it needs regular running on flat to estimate those things.
-
@Dušan-Ković it also used to be dependant on WRH & didn’t work with an external HRM (belt) but that was changed in the last update.
I’ve still not got it despite trying to use “running”, “trail running” & custom trail running sports modes that I made myself.
I’m not fussed though as I don’t race & am just an amateur runner so don’t miss it at all.+1:

@GiPFELKiND same to me. I switched from race to S. Maybe it need some more data
-
@Mattg576 yup, I know the problem with HR monitor before latest update. I never use WHR, always with Verity Sense and never had those estimates, even with FW latest update.
-
@sartoric
Ok
Thank you for you reply. -

You are right, i miss it and in the user manual is written WE GOT A LACTAT TRESHHOLD VALUE.
A promise what isnt a promise?! The lactat Treshhold is a big value to calculate your heart rate zones with % from your lactat Treshhold. So it is important to got the values … It doesnt work since race release at october 2023… Shame -
@Mattg576 I have it in Race with external sensor. Is the sw different between Race and Race S?
-
@Richard-Thygesen someone until today a lactat Treshhold!? @Mattg576 @Egika @Richard-Thygesen @Dušan-Ković @Ago51 @Fabii85 @sartoric
-
@GiPFELKiND I think you’re asking if anyone you’ve tagged has Lactate Threshold yet ?
If that’s the case then yes I have it now (although not sure when it turned up because I stopped checking for it months ago…)

@Richard-Thygesen Sorry I must have missed your question, no idea I’m afraid as I only have a Race…

I got my Race in December of 2023. It was about April of 2024 before I had a lactate threshold or V02 Max.
-
I got my Race S in early October. I have 22 runs now in the Suunto app (156km). No clue of the lactate threshold value. I also did the suunto plus app Anaerobic threshold test as I thought it would add the first estimation of the threshold value, and although it was usefull for me to set manually my zones, it did not show up in the watch.
-
@Marti-Parnau 81 runs and 1300km for me since August and mine still doesn’t display any value. It’s odd that some have it and others don’t.

Any updates from Suunto on this topic. Owning a Race S since October. Got plenty of runs, workouts,… on it. No lactat Threshhold either. Would be nice to get some information from Suunto regarding that. When it appears or how??
