Double tap on screen compilation.

Hello, can someone tell me how it’s works, double tap function? I know that I should double tap on for example weather compilation on clock and after that it should run weather app. So, I did this and it works randomly:( for some reasons ones it’s working, second one not
it depends how quick I should double tap? Any one knows🥸? -
