SOFTWARE UPDATE 2.35.34 Q2
-
@Patrick-Löffler-0 I think that is just a designer mockup, nothing that has been tested yet.
-
@isazi Thanks. Still looks awesome. More compact.
-
@isazi @Patrick-Löffler-0 mine beta looks exactly like this.
But I don’t think there is much new on this screen.
-
@Egika Android scrolls horizontally, this is the first time I see widget stacked vertically
Edit: they are not stacked vertically, they just look vertical when not zoomed it
-
@Tieutieu it is important to prepare the users for the change, to avoid what happened last time [1]. As Suunto announced watchfaced will be unpaired from the firmware, and distributed in the S+ store. New watchfaces can then be developed, and distributed, faster.
[1] when users updated the watch and found a different watchface and complications from what they previously had
-
@isazi let’s see what “new watchfaces developpement means” (By Suunto => I’ll be confident, or by others ? => I’ll be cautious !)
I also wish that old and very demanded improvements will come ! (my top wishes remain the rep counter and “bip” countdown in native structured workouts)
-
@Tieutieu as mentioned before, there is one main new feature in this Q3 release (guess which), and a long list of fixes. Q4 may bring more.
-
@isazi I’m a patient guy !
-
I’m hoping this means we can curate our collections and clear out watch faces we don’t like or use. I like to keep things concise, less scrolling and searching.
-
@TitaniumDave same for apps, if you don’t need it, don’t install it
-
@isazi any news on Suunto Coach improvements?
-
@dulko79 that is an app change, not a firmware one
-
Maybe it is better to continue this specific discussion here https://forum.suunto.com/topic/11407/watchfaces-in-s-store/
-
No word on pricing for these new watch faces yet?
-
@isazi how can we develop our own ones?
