      Hello,

I ran into subject watch and impulsively bought it. Actually, it was exactly what I was looking for: non-smart, outdoor watch with temp, alt and compass. I even liked how it looks. However, backlight intensity is really disappointing. Its hard to read time inside, outside, cloudy, sunny (polarized glasses? forget about reading time) - one really needs to focus vision to pick up time, instead of just glance. And I am talking - when I press the Light button, no difference in the daylight, some greenish hue in the dark.

I’ve seen that people complained about this in the forum, without any immediate solution. I am here just to check if there is any solution to boost brightness of the screen before I return the watch.

It is really hard for me to understand the design choice where one limits usability of otherwise nice watch to - I guess - save money on those ultra-pricey 2032 batteries?! And why not give the end user some flexibility on this?

Also, I am unable to calibrate the compass. Followed 8.1.1. of user manual to the letter. I enter calibration, rotate the watch, 15s per revolution, as leveled as possible - nothing. Tried dozen of times, once even rotated ten times - nothing.

Any input is welcomed and appreciated!
