One aspect of the smartphone notifications (at least on Android) with the Vertical I find frustrating is the duplication of notifications on the watch. As an example, if I receive a text, I get a notification. If I don’t open the message on my phone and leave it unread then receive a second message, I get two separate notifications on my watch in quick succession about the new message and the previous one again.

If I’m not using my phone this often results in long strings of incoming notifications one after the next as they pile up.

Is this something known that Suunto is working on? I’ve had the same behavior on two different Android phones and the watch firmware is up to date.

It’s not the end of the world. Just annoying at times.

@Jeff-Johnson I have the same problem with Suunto Race S. Have you perhaps found a solution for this problem?
