      Re: Swimming pool

With my Vertical (2.33.14), Poolswimming (25m) is correct (distance, laps, tracks), and on spot with Form Googles or AWU, used for comparison). Only issue is wrong swim style recognition. After each turn I take a distingt gliding before continuing.

@Hexa62 same here. I try to do the glide as well, but I think the turn recognition is based on compass. I once had an extra lap (a very short one) for having to steer right and switch lane because of children playing in front of me.

Same with my Race. And is it possible to choose shorter distances. Was in a hotel with a 10m pool this week. Minimum distance on my watch was 15m 🤔

@mabe2k One kick and you’re banging your head to the opposite wall… I guess they have chosen a minimum distance that could still be considered as serious swimming. 10 meters is really short.

@BrunoH true, minimum distance is necessary to count laps, 10 meters with pushing against the wall may not even require arm movement.

@isazi if you are a good swimmer, you‘re right. But you don‘t know how slow I am 😂

@mabe2k I am just telling you why most vendors set a minimum size for the pool 🙂
