Watch Face Real Estate

The solar information on the watch face is not very useful information. The whole point of the vertical is battery life, i.e., you don’t need to worry about it, so taking up a bunch of space on the watch face to show information that you shouldn’t care about seems dumb. This is basically a request for more customization of watch faces. I would like to be able to put something else in that space.

for that particular watch face, it was for sure a (nice) marketing watch face when first solar suunto watch was introduced.
Without that “gauge”, EVERYONE will have requested to be able to see solar effects on the battery.But, agree about more customization possibilities
