@Fizzgig just that like every year the vertical week is here. It has not usually been linked to products or updates announcements, but, who knows !

If I understand well, we should have a solar ānon titaniumā version of the vertical !?It already appears on Suuntoās webstore : steel solar.
I take that as a very good news, meaning Suunto will bring new features and updates to the SV !

@Tieutieu Interesting! On the South African version of the website the Solar-steel version is listed as cheaper than the Steel non-solar. I assume the other prices will be dropping at some point to reflect this!

I donāt thinks theres much of a market for a watch without HR nowaday, besides, you would only save less than 50ā¬, on a 600ā¬ watch thatās not āwhat mattersā anymore IMO
As for Titanium non solar, you have the 9peak pro, or the Race that are already filling the gap.
In the podcast that was shared here a few month ago, i recall the Suunto dude saying that Garmin has a watch at every price point from 100 to 3000ā¬, Suunto canāt afford that and all the costs involved and wonāt try to compete like that
