      @Durri Garmin 26mm mount for Fenix etc series is perfect!! 👍🏻 🙌🏻 Just tested this because I have the mount and both Suunto Race and Garmin Fenix 7Z Solar watches.

            @vidmarr

            I Think with Suunto Race it is almost stronger in place than Garmin in it. But not in a bad way. It just works 😊👍🏻 It is impossible to come off I think. I have watch strap lugs in place, I think that it is harder to come off when they are in place. Garmin mount works just as well as Fenix watch in it. I am proud that I discovered this to community 🙌🏻

                @isazi when will a formal Suunto mount be available? Not the bar thingy but one for OTF?

                        @i5boi I tried General/Display/Always On yesterday, and it didn’t make any difference. I still couldn’t read the map most of the time while descending winding roads, which could have been useful!

                          @ketsipor ok. Just tried maps and now I see. I don’t ever use maps as I know where I’m going most of the time. If maps are needed I guess they will fix or won’t on purpose to force us to buy a Karoo 3.

                            @HoBart After the Update to 2.33.12 the behavior of the Suunto Race is even worse. Was on the mountainbike yesterday and the Display turned black after a few seconds. Even the maps screen turned black After a few seconds. I always had to click the crown to wake up the display but then it always flipped to the next screen.
                            Don‘t understand this behavior in cycling mode. The watch should at least stay dimmed so that you are able to read a little bit. Turning black shouldn‘t be an option in the cycling or mountainbiking profile.

                              @HoBart i have same problem with brightness during cycling! I switched to amoled for better readability but iťs the exact opposite. Thumbs down for amoled and suunto settings.

                                it works well when wearing the watch on the wrist.
                                I wouldn’t put my watch on the handlebar when mountain biking, but for road cycling.
                                it is a known topic and the same for everyone. let’s see 🤞

                                    @freeheeler But I would like to see my current speed, heartrate, elevation and all the other data just with a glance. And I definately doesn‘t want to take my hand of the handlebar.

                                      …when cycling, right? fully on your side. the watch should show the screen and data when on the handlebar while cycling.
                                      with mtb: plenty of time to look at the watch on the wrist uphills, definitely other priorities on the way down 🤘 😀

                                        @freeheeler i had a run today and it was really sunny, finally. Anyhow what bothered me was that the raise to wake did not work at all. The watch was always in dim state and it was totally impossible to see anything on the screen. The only way to wake it up was to touch the crown which made it jump to the next screen. Which was really frustrating since I was following a training plan. So what is the expected behaviour regarding the race and running?

                                          it dims to save battery, but of course at wrist raise the screen should become brighter instantly.
                                          what setup did you use?
                                          the setup with my Race is AOD toggled on and brightness high
