Hike & Fly Multisport including S+ Apps

Dear Community,
as much as I am in love with my Suunto Vertical i have not (yet) figured out how to do a proper Hike&Fly activity. The problem is that I want to use 2 S+ Apps for this activities (Climb and Variometer).
So I start with the Hike activity and adding the Climg App (Variometer is not choosable at all) - so when I Hold the button for doing Multisport and Change to Fly i have to go manually through the menus and am now able to add the variometer S+. After landing and changing back to Hike and doing the same procedure again i have to again manually add the variometer - this is brutally annoying.
The fix must be to just unlock variometer for all activities so it does not get canceled automatically when switching. For longer races this is very unhandy.
Am I missing something or is this as is?
