Heart Rate Measurement stops

@arkaitzgalvan thanks for your help! It seems that it works
Can someone inform us when the HR issue detection on the last update (2.39.20) is solved, so that we can go back to this newest version?
Tks! -
@Ludwig-Pichlbauer
I’m experiencing similar behavior. I just got my SPP9 last Friday, 12/20. Did the update to 2.39.20 during set up and have had trouble with the HR and O2 sensor ever since. I do a soft reset twice a day and that seems to reset the sensors but that lasts only a few hours. I also soft reset right before I sleep and get about 1-1/2 hours of tracking before the sensors quit. Has there been any timeline from Suunto on a fix for this issue? Seriously considering returning it. -
@vincent-mayousse We will let you know. We have tested newer firmware that is supposed to fix this. When we know it is working as it should it will be released. The testing may take a bit of time and sorry about that but we don’t want to have other issues arise.
-
@Brad_Olwin Just if I may ask a clarification question
There is no intention to send a downgraded version
Until the testing is complete after the holidays?
And just wait patiently until an updated version is released? -
@Danny-poleg I do not know, just a tester and well above my grade.

@Brad_Olwin Thank you very much, Happy holiday and Happy New Year

@paulo-malheiro Thank You!!

Same here, the heart rate sensor stop working every night and works back for the day after a soft restart.
I have to say I am disapointed, this issue is not new and came back twice this year. I am not sure I would go again with suunto for my next watch, this is not the only bug but the most annoying.

@Philippe-Maquin I have same problem, with latest firmware and I’m getting sick and tired about these buggy releases.
-
Went for a run this morning and 2 minutes in i realized the HR was not measuring on my Race. Did as many on this thread suggested and turning off and on the watch worked. Have no clue as to why but seems like the latest firmware is glitching.

@Arju-Ambin
Similar problem for me. HRM only works occasionally, soft reset brings it back to life. The monitor stopped working during an activity today. I believe the issue started after the most recent software update. -
@loches hello there! my situation is just the same. do you have any solution?

Hi together,
I think with the latest update to 3.39.20 the bug is back.
Yesterday, soft reset helped to reactivate Heart Rate sensor, after today’s “4-hours sleep” (it stopped working again in the middle of the night) I have to do another one…
Somebody seeing the same device behavior?
Kind regards:)yes i have this exactly same bug as well! it is not so good, i have sent the logs to suunto

@jacassata
How does it work, if there‘s no former update available on this Suunto, because earlier updates have been deleted by pressing the wrong button (Delete OTA pkgs)? How can I upload an earlier version?
