Suunto App Update
-
@tomas5 no info atm. It’s summer. Give us developers a break.
I am still working like crazy though
At some point I’ll also go for vacation.
There are plenty things we have almost done and dusted for you. Android is a little ahead that’s all.
Fyi it’s typical for Fins and Suunto to get a break during summer.
We are not a brand that does not value employee vacation and in general vacation. HR is working very well on Suunto.
So please bear 🧸 with us. We are a human powered company with it’s dips and ups.
And hey , this is a reply to you, but not directed to you. Don’t get me wrong you did nothing bad to ask.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos sorry to hear about your dad. Take care. And get some rest, Android isn’t going anywhere
-
@łukasz-szmigiel no worries. I mentioned this because I do like things to get personal if needed. In the end we are humans and that’s how we should be treated and discuss about it.
It’s not directed to anyone , but since my online presence is higher than my real presence I have no prob of talking here. In the end as I value your opinion , I value sharing my thoughts.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos sorry about your dad, take care of your family and take a rest as much as possible.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos couldn’t agree more. Or how you like to phrase it - correct
As we’ve already stated somewhere else - I’m just a plain potato, what do I know - but as I see it the older I get: The more human there is in communication, especially over the internet, the more we all benefit. And this is fantastically broad and complex term - being human in digital era.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos as developer i know that sometimes is good to go offline for some time, maybe a week and clear head from constant thinking about bugs and features.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos family first. We all work for money, for one company or the other. We only have one family. Time missed can never come back.
-
@tomas5 I am more than fine. Back in December last year I was not and I took the time for that.
But I now think I shared to much don’t get this wrong. . My rubber duck for life
-
So, SA update is still due this week?
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos said in Suunto App Update:

Really stoked to see the new update!
Recently all the new features and data makes me love Suunto more and more!
-
@theguyfromthesummit I think 4.43 is a pretty good version, with at least 2 features (IMHO) that users will appreciate a lot.

@isazi
This info doesn’t make waiting easier -

@patrick-löffler and the features I was talking about are in both Android and iOS.
