Waypoints/POIs usage within a route
-
Apologies if this has been answered previously. I’ve done searches and couldn’t find an answer.
I’m soon doing a 50 mile race and will be using the imported GPX file in my S9. I’m trying to find a way of using POIs within a route to show checkpoint locations. On Movescount I used to name waypoints as CP1, CP2 etc. but I can’t seem to see a way of adding a waypoint to an imported route on Suunto app. Also, is there a way of getting POIs to show on the watch whilst navigating the route (without choosing to navigate to the POI itself)? Again, on my old ambit this was possible using movescount and was useful for naming peaks etc. that were nearby.

@be1t0n I didn’t test it, but doesn’t tap-and-hold work in imported routes while in edit mode?

@surfboomerang ah yes you’re right it does.
I’ve been doing my route planning and stuff with Komoot so import was happening automatically and there doesn’t seem to be a way to then edit the route

@be1t0n If you are on iOS you cannot, a shame as it would be great to be able to edit a route once imported.
