This morning some kind of alert popped up on by SB9. I don’t know what it was. I was in the middle of a run and just pressed buttons until it went away. I lost a 1/4 mile or so of data. I’ve also had alerts about the compass in the past during a run. Is there a way to turn this shit off? It’s just a pain.

@michaeldwilson If you are using navigation you may need the compass or if you are using FusedTrack. If you have your phone with you, notifications will come to the watch. Put your phone in DND mode or turn it off. That will stop notifications.

You lost data because you likely paused the run by pushing buttons.

@michaeldwilson Just pressing the middle button once should be suffice for most notifications to disappear, but usually they disappear by themselves if they are just informative and don’t require any user action.

To prevent such a loss of data in the future I advice you to have a look at the manual to get a better understanding of the watch behavior.

maybe it was a warning that you’ve lost satellite reception?
