Turn off Notification sounds?

Hello - Can I keep the system notification(text, FB messenger, etc.) but not have my phone beep for each message? My friends blow up my running threads with 57 an hour sometimes! LOL.

It’s really too bad that we can’t control this and keep watch interaction sounds on and turn off Notification sounds.

you can select what’s pushed to your watch in the settings.
I started to use notifications half a year ago, but I only have activated it for calls. all the rest is annoying for me -

@freeheeler Thank you. Interesting. iOS doesn’t seem to have these options. I know that they are likely in other areas of the app or the OS’ settings. I think it can only pass whatever notifications the OS is set to announce. That’s my assumption anyway.

@rich-price yes I seem to remember that in iOS the OS is responsible for this.
