@basetta79 tell us the date of your AGPS update if you can.

@isazi ok, I’ve just checked and I found out it wasn’t updated.
Now I downloaded the latest version from Play Store: it’s the 4.38.1
So strange it didn’t download automatically (as for all the apps). -
@basetta79 okay that is the app version. On your watch go to “Settings” -> “General” -> “About” and look for “Assisted GPS”.
Edit: if you watch is in Italian it should still be something similar to that.

On my watch I synced this morning before the run I post in screenshot.
On my watch the sw is 2.14.12

@basetta79 the AGPS is updated (at least it is now), if it happens again can you check right after the activity if the APGS is updated or not?

@basetta79 when you start the activity, does it take long for the GPS icon to become green?

@isazi today 1-2 minute. Yesterday when I realized I was off with gps, I stopped and finished the activity. Then I immediately started another one but the search for gps has been long. When back at home, I couldn’t sync with the app. I had to un pair the watch then pair it newly and it worked.
Edit: I was using navigation with an imported route

@basetta79 long time for a GPS fix is consistent with missing AGPS.

@isazi and what can I do in that case? Is this something I can fix without sending the watch to official assistance?

I had some issues with slow fix too a couple of days ago.
So maybe there was some problem in the file data -

just make sure your watch completely synces to SA before an activity. the agps file gets synced with the watch-phone connection
I’ve had bad agps and also in general bad recording days, too. they are very rare IMHO -
@freeheeler ok. This morning the agps were synced to the app before the run but the result was awful (BUT the SA wasn’t updated). Tomorrow I will retry…

@basetta79 if you sync AGPS do it more than 15 minutes before you start the activity. Unpacking and making the files available takes time, so if you sync a new AGPS and then start immediately it is not available.

the best we can do is using the watch every day and sync it every day -
