@adammada which maps? In S9 there are no maps, only routes.
-
Tried it out today, can confirm that. No turn notifications and no way in Komoot to rename waypoints, which would be a workaround. So again, Spartans are left out.

I am not sure if it was already available in the previous firmware update, but I noticed a new datafield in the custom sport modes: Sea level pressure.
I suspected to see the hPa value, but instead it showed me a field with two dashes “–”. So my conclusion was that it was a representation of the baro trend arrows seen in the watch display as they were the same at that time. Now I noticed that the trend arrows in the watch face are going up, but the activity datafield still shows two horizontal dashes.
Does the datafield represent the pressure change during the activity only or is it suppose to show something else?
The icon also isn’t listed in the manual.(https://www.suunto.com/fy-nl/Support/Product-support/suunto_9/suunto_9/getting-started/icons/)
Ok, I tested a little more.
Looks like a problem in the windsurf profile. In other profiles it shows the hPa value.
I recreated my windsurf profile and even tried the default one but both show two dashes instead of a value. Also the Suunto Plus Weather screen shows two dashes on the bottom.
If I select the Weather screen in another sport mode the barometric pressure is shown in the bottem. -
@surfboomerang if you can share some screenshots you’ll save me some time and I’ll try to file a bug with Suunto. But I’m away from home this weekend, so I can’t promise it’ll be done before Monday.
-
@isazi I added the sea level pressure fields to a hiking and a windsurfing profile. I also tested other profiles like running and sailing, but they also show the values like hiking.
The spike in the weather graph is because of a soft reset of the watch.Hiking:
Windsurfing:
Not related to the problem above, but also a note for the weather page in general. The yellow color is barely visible in the light theme.
.@isazi Thanks a lot! And no hurries

@surfboomerang reported to Suunto, I’ll let you know.
-
@isazi Thanks!
-
@isazi report them they forget the lock function
-
@isazi I made sure. I know there is only a GPS trace in the S9B.
Question about KOMOOT. Can it route off-road? -
@adammada yes it can, you just tap on the blue path line and disselect follow ways.
-
@дима-мельниченко Thanks
-
Just got notification for software update 2.14.14. Release note seems the same as for 2.14.12.
-
@dulko79 it’s a special release for Suunto 5 to fix some issues.
-
@isazi Thanx.
-
I’ve noticed a small detail that would be great to adjust.
If I follow a route with TbT, then go off route for a section, I get “off route” notification. If I then get back to the route, it first alarms me of upcoming turn and then states that I’m back on the route ( of course it depends on where the next waypoint is located, so this sequence is not always present).
I think it would make more sense to first inform that one is back on the track, then to give TbT guidance.
Thanks! -
@g287-sf Yes - Komoot works with the SSSWHR Baro that I have. I should have mentioned that you don’t get turn by turn directions, but the routes transfer normally, and are good!
