Duplicate activities via bluetooth and wired synch
-
Hi, I’m having a consistent issue with receiving duplicate activies. After each activity (hiking/biking/running/etc.) I sync my Traverse to the app on iPhone Xr (OS 14.4). After sometime passes, my watch tells me to upload activities because it is running out of memory to hold them. So I connect it to my laptop via suunto link and pull activities off my Traverse. After this dump of activities, I now have duplicate activities (every single one!) in the suunto app. It’s as if there is no communication between the mobile app and laptop software saying “Hey, these have already been added…delete the duplicate”.
Additional note: I do change the description as sort of a journal for myself but do not change the time/speed/etc.Any thoughts on how to delete the duplicates and stop having this issue? Do i even need to sync my watch via cable to laptop?
Thanks!!

The watch will recycle the memory when it’s full, so you can avoid paying attention to the message.

@isazi Great! I will ignore the message from now on. Thanks for the quick feedback!
Any suggestions on how to select and delete multiple activities without having to click each one and navigate to “delete activity”?

@lazenbyl1 activity editing has some issue (at least on iOS) and I’ve confirmed this here, which I believe has not been corrected yet (if you are using the latest version of the app). See that topic for more details on our findings.
Update: also it would be great if you could provide a version number for both, Suunto app and SuuntoLink you are using. Oh, and there is no easier way to delete multiple activities AFAIK.
