Strength training duration
-
First posted on the Android bug section, but I am not really sure it is an app thing, so I’ll post here.
Strength training, customized sport mode. I use the laps for sets, so I have 4 activities in the last 2 weeks with 79/80 laps.
Issue is, the duration reported by the watch at the end of the activity, that is the same as the duration in the logbook, is different from what reported by the app and (therefore) all third-party services.
Today: ~58:38 on the watch, ~58:28 on the app.
Last Friday: ~01:00:19 on the watch, ~58:00 on the app.
Last Wednesday: ~59:21 onthe watch, ~58:22 on the app.This Wednesday it was fine, with the difference that I pressed the lap button before the end button, therefore I have 80 laps instead of 79.
I will post links later. Anyone finding inconsistencies in strength training data?

@isazi
No strength activity for me. It looks effectively like something link to this lap things (last one not counted or saved properly or…).
Just for the sake of testing, what would happen if you do a run or hike or whatever other sports you do, but with same laps pattern? (a lot of laps, and stop activity the way it bugs with strength) -
@isazi
I’ll try this later … if I don’t forget it -
@isazi yeah this looks like a watch bug.
I did look at the data, the activity “header” had less duration than the “window”. Windows are like multisport stuff.
I tried to reproduce it with no luck.
However I did file a bug as this looks like a watch issue 90%.
All feedback is welcome

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos thanks!

@isazi
I tried. It looks ok, on my Spartan, but I recorded a lot less laps
Maybe in my case (but I need to check it) what is wrong is the lap total. -
Today the lap trick did not work, and the time on watch and app is again different. Just wanted to report.
