@stromdiddily the idea is to stop the “false” distances when you are stopped. . to gain in comfort and precision
With the firmware update for the S9 I don’t see any distance added to my stops, at all! Have you tested this? -
It would be great to use the pace option to follow a rute using GPS and, at the same time, record a track and have the values of it. I think bother options are not possible. But maybe I’m wrong.
-
@ruth-benet-prats you mean ghost runner? Being able to use previous run as a base for navigation and have a bunch of UI elements on navigation view to show you where you’re at in comparison to the previous run?
-
it will be great to just have an update

Already possible by changing the backlight mode to “Toggle” in the settings
Nope, doesn’t work. Need to press a button to activate screen and after that you can tap the screen to active backlight.
-
@artofin have you set the screen to turn off after 10 seconds? Then you’re correct, because it disables touch. Without it, I can tap on the screen and the back light turns on.
-
@artofin in battery setup you can select touch (screen)
-
Touch screen was off. But tapping doesn’t work with gloves, so…
Btw, when I had Spartan Ultra setting heart rate target in interval training was useless. It was telling to go faster or slower regardless of what phase was going. If heart rate target was set to zone 3, it was telling to keep that also in rest phase.
Is it still the same? Just wanted to know before I go try it and get dissapointed -
@łukasz-szmigiel no, let me explain…when you create a rute and start following it you can’t register that track at the same time… So that activity is not done…

you can create a route in SuuntoApp, tranfer it to your watch.
but then, on the watch, there are two ways of following it :
1- in the watch navigation menu : and i guess you are using this.
2- but you can also follow this route during an activity recording
a- in the pre-start screen of an activity, you can scroll down and there are options there, including navigation
b- while already recording, you can long-press the middle button, a get this option menu and begin navigation from there, anywhen you want.is it what you look at ?
-
@mff73 thanks! I didn’t know!! I always did option 1. My tracks weren’t recordered. So I stopped doing that way because I don’t like it and trying to remember the routes by heart. So I get lost… Now will be better!

Hi !
Do you think it’s possible to have something similiar at the end of an activities ? I find it sexy and cool
-
@g287-sf
With any photoshop, you can add whatever sentences on any of photos of your S9 watch -
To me virtual partner is really what i’d love.
Maybe the hour on the navigation screen. More info (asc, pace etc) would also be cool be i understand this screen have to be really readable. Is there a list with with the things are already on demand ?
-
@mff73 it’s not the same lol. Just find it cool because we have plenty info at the end and just add the “trace” we made with km and time is cool.
-
Guys,
a thing i’m thinking it’ll be great if we can “lock” watchface. Personnaly I set to see hours, date and step but it switch accidentally.
And if it can be possible to see step only with numbers to see exactly how much we walk by a simple look at the watchface. It’s easier than clicking to see the step “page”
And ability to see battery level of paired device (HR sensor, bike pod …)

A lot of people are asking for this feature. It’s even part of @freeheeler’s signature

It’s the same for the sunrise a the top of the watchface ! A lot would like to set it

I haven’t see if it’s possible to see the “constellation of Satellites” avalaible for GPS use. I think it can be usefull to help people to choose what gps activate
exemple :
I’m in europe
The watch show me 13 GPS, 5 Glonass, 0 beidou, 0 Gzss and 9 Galileo avalaible in my area.
At this moment I know i will activate only GPS + Galileo to have something optimum and preserve my batterie. If the watch won’t be able to do it maybe @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos can do something in SA ? Like a page only made for GPS check and maybe update a-Gps with progression bar because people who have issue with seems to qui before it’s ended. Maybe this kind of bzr or % will keep people connected until it’s done ?
And it is possible to have basic fitness exercice working with accelerometer like push-up, pull up, squat and abs ? I know some other manufacturer do it why not us. It can be cool to have “simple training plan integrated”
-
@g287-sf I would like to see gps-related info in SA too, but don’t you think it’s too user unfriendly to devote whole page to this feature alone? Maybe it would be better to just have a pop-up suggestion on which mode to chose while updating agps in SA or smth like that. Or if we’re talking watch firmware to have an automatic gps mode, where the watch scans for available satelites at the start of the activity and then chooses an optimal configuration?
As for guided training/rep count on the watch, it’s a known feature suggestion for suunto plus and may or may not be implemented depending on the public interest. If you’re interested please vote for it in the poll on suunto plus website.
