S9 sleeping tracker

@florin2528 to understand it…your sleep time always starts sooner than you go to bed. For example, you set your bedtime at 10:00 PM and go to bed at 10:30 PM, but the watch is counting the sleep already from 10:00 PM?

i have an average bpm during sleep of 50. When I’m trying to fall asleep drops to almost 50 and the watch takes that as sleep. on the first day after putting on the sleep tracker was taking 30 minutes in front at least.
And strange was that even when i changed the menus on the watch and checking manual the bpm, was still registered as sleep that period of time. -
as below
-
the watch doen’t look into HR to detect sleep
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos ok, what are the triggers which decides this?
-
@florin2528 it`s the accaleration sensors that register if you are sleeping or not
-
Checking the watch wont stop the sleep.
This is logical as many people can wake up, check stuff and sleep again. If you get up and walk etc or not relax afterwards then it will “consider you awake”
-
@Stefan-Kersting - this means that reading a book or watching a movie could be detected as sleep time?
-
@florin2528 that means that if you are relaxed near the time you have setted up as “go to sleep” ie watching a movie in the couch, and you don’t get up afterwards (eg stay on the couch not moving for 4h) it will initiate the sleep.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos now it’s clear. thank you!
