You think that planned workout won’t happen on SA?
It’s really nice feature mostly S9 have already this with MC.I’ve been asking for this and as a Field Tester I state this as a major missing feature. So far, I have no idea if this will be implemented, I miss it and if I had an inkling it was planned, I would be quite happy.

@Brad_Olwin
I fully agree with your list of missing features. Sincerely I was surprised that I cannot add a planned workout (my trainer sends me workout plan every two weeks). I was using this quite often.
Tags - totally agree.One thing I would also admire could be the training load graph which on MC was based on Resting Time. I do not know why it was removed also from MC some time ago but something similar could be shown on SA or/and watch.

@Brad_Olwin One thing I really miss is the ability to turn on and off the sound alarm for intervals, Suunto plus and navigation before and during activity. (did not want sound on buttons and notification of messages)

I’d also like to add “customization of the pause screen”! Or “revert” to what the “old” watches like Ambit did.
I find it very disappointing that I can only see some default information (which I am usually not even interested in!). I would rather like to see for example the current altitude or the ascent.
After the last update it doesn’t even stay on the screen that I’ve navigated to (the only useful one of the “defaults” for me is “day time”), but always jumps back to the “activity time” (or whatever it is called). This is very annoying
I no longer expect to be able to see all information (like it was possible with the Ambit3 for example) - but it would be great if the limited screens would be at least configurable.
It is also not very convenient that routing is not available in the “pause” mode…

Hello,
Do you think it’s possible to implement a function equivalent to fuel wise from Polar on the suunto S9 or suunto plus? -
@Ad1411 my understanding of fuelwise is it provides a distance or time based reminder to drink or eat right? Back in the olden days I would just set reminders based on intervals/auto-laps on my Garmin FR210 and remember to drink every split and eat every other.
-
@zrumlow fuel wise Consideres your heart rate when you should feed carbohydrates. Is a really good function that Polar has implemented well.

Hi!
Would it be possible to include weather forecast information in the S9, like the Polar Grit X? -

-
It would be great! Right now it is the only function that I miss.

It’s okay for Polar, many users and me too. It’s unique up to now.
-
Sorry for the hijack but I guess I seen it here…
Does the Suunto 9 has a mode of “light always on” like the ambit 2/3? -
@André-Faria yes.
And surprise: it’s in the manual!

I want to be able to create a surf activity.
The activity type “surf” is not present, I use standup paddle and then convert it to surf, but I also have to do it in Strava.
Is it possible to add surf in the watch ? It’s already present in SuuntoApp.
-
Hi all,
What about an “Elliptical bike” activity?
I always use the treadmill running option and then adjust the km given by the machine but could be fun to have a new icon for that too.
Thanks ! -
@darxmurf there is elliptical …
-
@LariaAtha having access to all training screens during pause would be great…
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
And surf ? Is it possible to have it or the list is full ? -
@TELE-HO misses the ability to turn the sound alarm on and off when an activity is started. Often when I use the interval function I wanted audible alarm or when navigating audible alarm offtrack. and the ability to turn it off when GPS signals are poor
