HR related data fields
-
@Brad_Olwin please see the bottom of my post, below the screenshot. I’m thinking about % related fields - the min, max and avg of max HR.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I don’t understand the language, but: as for my Ambit3 the heart rate can be displayed in bpm and % unit format. The % unit format is the percentage of the respective heart rate in comparison to your max. heart rate (ex. your max. HR = 180, your current HR = 130 then expressed in % you will get 72.22%).
-
@andrasveres so the % of max HR should be:
Max HR during particular workout (in bpm) -> calculate % according to hrmax (in bpm)?
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel indeed.
-
Can someone drop a screenshot from this section in English for comparison? Either I’m an idiot and didn’t get it from field description or the translation is poor.

Sorry I didn’t read properly: % of max HR would be what I wrote earlier and Max % of max HR would be what you wrote.
Regarding english screenshot I cannot help since I don’t have those features in Suunto app for my watch
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel I would but I have iOS not Android
-
@Brad_Olwin is this part of UI that much different between OSes that actual strings don’t match?
I wonder if it wouldn’t be better to simply have identical strings - like “Maximum HR” but with (bpm) or (%) appended next to them. Wouldn’t it make more sense than this gibberish that’s in Polish version?

Changing your phone’s system language to English, restarting Suunto App, taking that screenshot and changing language back to Polish shouldn’t take more than 1-2 minutes.
-
@margusl well I might be an idiot after all. Never thought about changing the language actually
So yeah here’s the EN version. A little bit better but I still think that perhaps it would be better to have:
Average heart rate (bpm)
Average heart rate (%)Maximum heart rate (bpm)
Maximum heart rate (%)Also, there are more inconsistencies:
On one field there’s HR and on the other there’s heart rate.
I get it that it must be due to some hardcoded limit but wouldn’t it be better to have the shorter form used everywhere?
Btw. I believe this area of SA cries for redesign UX wise. Long-long lists, especially if you have to access it several times in a row, are bad.

-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos sure. It can’t be multiple lines?
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel then your UX will become even worse
