and weightOhhh…come on!!!

So, why pay people more money on a watch when the only difference is a titanium bezel and the buttons…?
-
@Stefan-Kersting
Do you really need an answer ? World is full of diversity for needs, and wishes.Should you have asked for the Gold Model, answer would have been easier
-
@Mff73 Yes I need, had some sleepless night…
-
Different look
-
Are 5 grams ligher and the buttons which I find handier in winter or with gloves…
and of course scratches are away in the glass… the bezel I wish I had DLC
-
For m me there is one reason only. Looks much better than nontitanium
-
@zvonejan ohhh no…really… I think the standard baro version is the nicest bezel I’ve ever seen. The black one with the machined part showing the bare metal is simply really nice, in my opinion the design is completelly timeless, is one of these designs that en 5 years will be one of the nicest still.
And now there is this version, the baro leather that is the standard baro bezel in tintanium that is completely astonishing (even in the price).

@Stefan-Kersting I notice the weight difference on very long runs and my reason for getting a titanium:
-
@Brad_Olwin 10 km run with a step length 1 m… 50 kg ekstra weight to lift Nice motto by the way

200km run with step length less than 1m…I do notice the difference, I really noticed the difference between the A3P and SSU titanium!
-
@Stefan-Kersting Likewise, good motto, had to look this one up.
-
@Brad_Olwin have a A3P, too and did a run with both watches a week ago. You can feel the difference
-
Eye of the beholder … and in simple practicality …
Moving on from military black and more eye-gouging colors, the minimalism of this appeals to me:
I especially like the way the titanium bezel’s 12&6 notches, raised slightly above sapphire level, provide a usably precise sighting tool for bearing navigation.
-
@Fenr1r I really like the look of the SSU, loved mine and if I did not need the battery of the S9 I might still have mine.
-
@Brad_Olwin Your problem is that you need to bring home (or to phone) too much data, sir. All that biometric stuff … Had you been satisfied with only a GPS fix every half hour or so, you’d still have been happily sorted for days of outdoor funventure.
-
Love my SSU, too. I think the design is even better than the s9, but unfortunately there are no updates and there some functions the s9 has that I think are quiet interesting.
-
@Fenr1r Sometimes I miss those days of simply running with my T6c and a footpod…
