Sleep tracking suunto 9
-
@lost_today I had the same experience. Within a week I had a new watch
-
@ianpet can you describe the problem in a bit more detail? “It doesn’t work” isn’t a really significant description.
Like:
What did you configure on the watch?
How did you test the setting?
What did you expect as a result?
What is the result you get at the moment.
Etc… -
@surfboomerang We ask that several times now, all we get is “I did everything like the manual”, also hoping for a more detailed description, so @ianpet what can you share?
-
maybe he/she could ask for a refund
-
@cosmecosta I want everything to work the sleep tracking is very handy for me
-
@jthomi mine just wont do anything at night time by recording should I factor set the watch
-
@ianpet Did you read this note? Maybe something to do with this? Otherwise I am running out of knowledge here. When you do everything according to the manual and the tips here, there is not much we can do to help you here.
If you go to bed before your bedtime and also wake up after your bedtime, your watch does not count that as a sleep >session. You should set your bedtime according to the earliest you may go to bed and the latest you may wake up.

But what do you do? I mean, do you go to the sleep tracking screen pushing the lower button (from the main screen, there are other ways to enable it), then keep pushed the middle button and there you enable it with the toggle. You can also set the extra parameters.
Do you wear the watch tight enough for the OHR readings (I do not know if this is completely necessary)? The watch will not show anything at night. The next day you will get a summary in the watch and when you sync with the SA you will get info there.
Could you send some pictures? Or what do you expect.

Please post some photos of watch settings and sleep screens.
-
someone which testes how much battery the sleep tracking with HR takes?
-
@Stefan-Kersting last night: 8h of sleep -> 4%, Not disturb ON
-
@Maryn sounds pretty much. Are there any test how much this function reduses the battery lifetime?
-
Consider that probably also OHR is always on
-
@sartoric yes, daily OHR is set to ON.
