SSWHRB Run Interval setting not working!
-
I use intervals and the watch vibrates as expected (I disabled tones and vibration is off for buttons).
Please forgive me for the question but it’s just to better understand.
Did you start the interval or just the activity ? -
@darren_m I assume you have the intervals turned on, you must start them, which it sounds like you have done. Mine works perfectly but there are settings for both vibration and tones. I usually have both on for intervals.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Yes that’s correct, Buttons off for tones and vibration, but originally I had vibration ON. I altered it in case there was a glitch for that sub setting. Still no good though.

@brad_olwin Forgive me, I need to clarify what you mean by this. Am I doing this right?
I go to Running intervals
Swipe down to Intervals and switch it on
Set Repetitions.
Set interval to duration, and alter the time.
Set Recovery to duration, and alter the time
Swipe up and start the activity.Is this correct?
Thanks! -

@darren_m
you miss the last step, after you start the activity.Start the interval training, swiping all to the left (going to the right )
-
when you start your activity you need to go to the interval screen and launch it by the upper button.
-
Damn, not enough fast lol.

Phew!
Thanks everyone. Thankfully it was just my incompetence that was the problem. It’s working fine!
Once the timing complete screen appears? Do I just go back to the activity screen and save there?
Much appreciated!
-
@darren_m yes. Because when it’s complete the upper button will restart it.

@darren_m
You’re welcome … I must confess that I faced a similar issue at the beginning, waiting for intervals to start automatically
In fact it’s a bit tricky.then I went back to the old rule … RTFM
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Thanks for your help!
-
@darren_m you are most welcome man. Enjoy.
-
I actually prefer Suntos way of doing intervals. Instead of just starting automatically, one can do a free form warm up before the interval training starts. Most of my workouts are interval based and I really like that you can do several different interval drills in one workout. Just dive into settings and change the times or distances.

@john-lawson-0 Strongly disagree if you allow me.
-
@john-lawson-0 I strongly agree. I love this. I don’t understand why some people need a dfined warmup.
Also teasing @Luís-Pinto
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Just to anwser.
FACT - 24th MARCH 2015 Suunto launch workout planner for Ambit 3/Run with a integrate solution for people that want to use warm-up or no. -
@luís-pinto I dont get it man. Warm up is there already and cool down. What are you talking about? Its marked at your laps table.
-
@luís-pinto Just hit start and end your intervals.
Noone should really need a precice warmup and cooldown by the second.
The point of the warmup and the cooldown is to be variant.
That said I please you to explain to me what the benefit would be…
