I love my watches from Suunto but I’m incredibly frustrated! I purchased the watch and took it for a few spins after upgrading it to the latest firmware with Suuntolink (and making sure it never came near Movescount). I also paired it to my Android S10 with the SuuntoApp. I created one custom running mode, otherwise didn’t change any settings from default.

The next day the watch, upon clicking the up button and then the middle button once to choose an activity type, just switched over to the “boot screen”. The boot screen is that screen with the down arrow and four dots. Right now, the first dot is solid, the second dot is blinking, and the back-light is stuck on. No matter what I do, the watch will not leave this screen.

Soft reset (hold the upper right button) – watch turns off and back on to the boot screen.

Hard reset (use the SuuntoLink app and your computer) – says that the watch needs to be reset to fix the error. It resets the watch and then the watch immediately (without ever showing another screen) goes back to the boot screen and will not get off of it.

So, I sent the watch in for service! They took a look, said they did a hardware reset, and sent it back. It worked for one run. Repeat above. I’m going to send it back in and I’ll keep y’all updated.

No. I made sure to eradicate Movescount from my phone and computer. I had heard about some incompatibility between the two so I never wanted to mix them.
