Suunto 9 Pause Screen

I use the Suunto 9 Baro to track my hikes. During the day I frequently take a break for lunch or so when I pause the exercise by pressing up button. During this time the watch shows only “Resume”, elapsed time and “End”. If I would like to check the current time I don’t know how to do that - the watch is basically useless for displaying the time during the break. Is there a way to customize this screen?
