SSWHR Baro - Multisport "Distance" vs "Current activity distance" view
-
Hi all, I am doing a Multisport activities quite often. My most widely setup is that I Ride first and then Run. For a run activity I created a Custom Run mode. On one screen there I have a field with “Current activity distance” and on another screen there is a “Distance” field. Well. What is the difference between them? Every time, when I Ride and then Run, both of these fields reports the same value: ride distance + run distance. I expected that the field “Current activity distance” would display distance for Run only but that is not a case. Is this a bug or feature? If it is a feature, what is the purpose to have to differently names fields which shows the same value? Or am I missing something and using it in wrong way? Many thanks in advance for any help/recommendations!

I’m 100% sure that when multisporting using base sport modes, duration and distance (walk, run at least) show the current activity data. using base sport modes, duration and distance (walk, run at least) show the current activity data.I’ll try with 2 custom sports, by chance I never used my custom sets for multisport

just done a very quick test using the 3 fields - duration
- duration current activity
- duration previous activity
and it works as expected which app version do you use ?
Try to create a new custom mode, maybe the one you’re using is corrupted or it was made when that field was bugged (I remember something but I’m not sure)PS
 Yes I didn’t use DISTANCE

@sartoric Hm, re-creating sport mode could help, you are right. In the past I had to recreate some sport mode due to malfunctioning and it helped. So, I’ll try to re-create it and will see.
 Thanks for the hint!

@sartoric Hi, so I did re-create custom sport mode, and tested it yesterday and it worked. Now I am happy again and I can do my crazy multisports
 Thanks for the hint!
