Altitude Profile Freeze after route change
-
I was on a bike ride yesterday and I planned two routes one 45km, one 30km. On The longer route first 30km is identical To the shorter route, basically just extended ride by 15km so I get 90km two way in case I feel like it. I started with 45km route plan but as I approached 30km mark I went trough more than half the drinks and was out of fuel because of light breakfast so I switched to a 30km route at 30km mark. As I was riding back I noticed my altitude profile was stuck at the Previous 45km route at 30km mark. I went into options again and selected 30km route again and navigate, still nothing. Basically it remained Frozen unchanged until the end,
I will try to replicate the problem with a simpler shorter hike next time and take photos.

@lexterm77 Suunto knows about this bug but I thought it was fixed in the last update. I assume you are on the latest firmware?

@lexterm77 A way around this is to cycle from Route to Breadcrumb then to new Route in Navigation. I will make sure this is not happening with my firmware and either way I will get back to you. I am not running the same firmware you are and I cannot remember when this was addressed.

Way around is to stick to the original route and not change mind
