Okay guys, that’s awesome - I’ve started working on the wife for the Baro version. I’m presuming the HR strap will still work with the 9 Baro. Thanks for the advice.

@lowdee19 I am still using the sensor from my A3P! Other things you may like about the 9 over the A3P. Distance to waypoint is along route not as flight path (A3P does latter). Screen resolution is amazing, I can see more fields without my glasses. Finally, most of the apps I used with my A3P are built into the S9.

@Brad_Olwin which apps did you use in ambit?

@Marcin-Byrtek Mostly ones for racing where I could see ETA and ETE, downhill counter, power zone with Stryd, Sunrise/Sunset, TSS, Incline/grade. I used some for fake power on a bike, which is not on the 9. All others are there in one form or another (SuuntoPlus included).

the non baro version is good for flat runners and people not using storm alarms -

just profile of the altitude. with custom app also grade ( not really 100 % sure)

@zvonejan yes, I had grade on my Ambit 2 with custom app, I missed that in S9B, hope SunntoPlus will bring that info, soon…
