In addition to the Suunto Wear app and Google Fit, I also use the following apps:
Heart Trace (for HR reading every 5 minutes, has little impact on battery life)
Smart Alarm (for sleep tracking and alarm, has some impact on battery life)
Ultimate Watch 2 (nice watch face, has little impact on battery life)In other words, not many apps used so far
-
@aeroild does heart trace sync to fit?
-
@isazi Yes.
-
@aeroild have you evaluated the real impact of heart trace in battery life?
-
@jorgefd78 No, just what I have seen on the battery usage screen on the Wear OS app and how often I tend to charge the watch.
The app you mentioned, Rain Alarm, I can’t seem to find this app. Do you have a link? -
@aeroild thx you I’ll give a try.

@jorgefd78 For some reason Google Play says that this app is not available for my Suunto 7.

@jorgefd78 Yes, Norway. Maybe I need to install it on the phone first?
Edit: Installing it on the phone first and then from phone to watch did the trick. The Google Play store has a way to go to become more easy to use for Wear OS. -
@aeroild wow that’s strange. Try to take a look at developer google play page https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8351641259293984004
maybe the have different versions depend of the country you’re visiting
Also try to install Android version and the see if you have a notification in s7 with wear os version ready to install
