Recommended Apps

Ladies and Gents,
I am new to the S7 and am looking for recommendations for Apps.I will be doing some light running (nothing over 7k) .
Some gym classes, spinning, weights etc. I will be listening to offline music ( I use Google music so all good there)
I also do some mountain walking occasionally.
I am also interested in the impact they have on battery life.
Should add i also play golf -
For me, this is the needed apps
Google Keep
Telegram
Navcasts (to listen podcast)
Spotify (to remote control the music in my Alexa speakers at home)
rain alarm
easy voice recorder
exercise timer
google translate
stocard (to carry my loyalty cards) -
In addition to the Suunto Wear app and Google Fit, I also use the following apps:
Heart Trace (for HR reading every 5 minutes, has little impact on battery life)
Smart Alarm (for sleep tracking and alarm, has some impact on battery life)
Ultimate Watch 2 (nice watch face, has little impact on battery life)In other words, not many apps used so far
-
@aeroild does heart trace sync to fit?
-
@isazi Yes.
-
@aeroild have you evaluated the real impact of heart trace in battery life?
-
@jorgefd78 No, just what I have seen on the battery usage screen on the Wear OS app and how often I tend to charge the watch.
The app you mentioned, Rain Alarm, I can’t seem to find this app. Do you have a link? -
@aeroild thx you I’ll give a try.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mdiener.rain.usa
-
@jorgefd78 For some reason Google Play says that this app is not available for my Suunto 7.
-
@aeroild are you in?
Europe: Spain (including the Balearic and Canary Islands), Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus, Ukraine
Americas: Argentina, USA USA (Including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam), Canada, Bermuda, Mexico, El Salvador
Asia: Taiwan, Macao, Hong Kong, Japan, Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, India

@jorgefd78 Yes, Norway. Maybe I need to install it on the phone first?
Edit: Installing it on the phone first and then from phone to watch did the trick. The Google Play store has a way to go to become more easy to use for Wear OS. -
@aeroild wow that’s strange. Try to take a look at developer google play page https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8351641259293984004
maybe the have different versions depend of the country you’re visiting
Also try to install Android version and the see if you have a notification in s7 with wear os version ready to install
