Can the Spartan Sport WHRB be switched off?
-
It took 4 hours to fully charge from around 6%, which is quite a while compared to what I’m used to. As I can’t wear it at work, it will sit with its battery depleting for days. Is there a way to switch it off to save the battery? Or if not, is there any plan to give it this feature?
Thanks!

I know this is not possible. However if you leave it at the table mine lasted 4 weeks when I went on vacation.
I don’t really know the reasoning behind it.

However I am suspecting this

That is because once I had left my ssu on Lowe battery and did not charge it for weeks and then I had to set it up again.

Ok thanks, I thought not.
I’m wondering if the watch becomes just a watch after the becoming idle for so long. You could achieve this by stopping all measurement functions (Heart Rate etc) after the accelerometer becomes idle for a set period, which suggests that the watch isn’t being worn because it hasn’t detected any movement, maybe! To have background information like this would be interesting.

Yes that is what happens. Only take care that it can sesnse eg small vibrations eg when you also out a glass on the same table.
